Jacqueline Yarbro
Jacqueline Yarbro is a skilled advocate with significant experience handling sensitive criminal cases, congressional investigations, and complex government investigations. Prior to founding the firm, Ms. Yarbro was an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia. At the U.S. Attorney's Office, Ms. Yarbro tried more than twenty criminal cases to verdict at both the federal and state level. Through her work, she developed a reputation as a thoughtful, strategic trial lawyer. Her caseload spanned a wide range of complex matters, including conspiracies, fraud, and obstruction of justice investigations. In every case, she brought careful preparation and sound judgment to bear—whether in the courtroom or at the grand jury investigation stage. Ms. Yarbro was viewed as a particularly valuable asset to the U.S. Attorney's Office given her fluency in the Spanish language. She used these skills to communicate with victims and witnesses, review evidence, and prepare cases for trial. Ms. Yarbro's contributions to the Office were recognized through several Special Achievement awards.
Before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Ms. Yarbro served as an attorney at the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, where she led politically sensitive investigations involving alleged violations of the Hatch Act. She advised agency leadership on enforcement strategy, prepared high-level officials for congressional testimony, and litigated before the Merit Systems Protection Board. Ms. Yarbro also advised on responses to congressional oversight investigations and inquiries. Her work included writing reports to the President of the United States detailing Hatch Act violations by senior administration officials.
Ms. Yarbro brings that same level of care and insight from her various roles in government to her work in private practice. She is a steady and empathetic advisor to clients facing complex legal challenges, whether those challenges involve criminal allegations, congressional investigations, or reputational risk. She is known for her collaborative approach, her ability to distill complex issues, and her commitment to guiding clients through uncertainty with focus and a well-calibrated strategy.
